You love film festivals? You are passionate about writing? You want to learn how to create quality texts on films? Then apply now for our first ever European workshop for film critcism!

During workshop units at Filmfest Dresden (April 16 – 22) and VIENNA SHORTS (June 1 – 6), you will gain insight into journalistic practice and learn the basic craft of film criticism through short films and film programs. You will be guided by established journalists and film scholars and a selection of the texts will be published on talkingshorts.com, which – along with The European Network for Film Discourse (The END) – is behind the project which was funded by the European MEDIA program.
