All summer long, the film festival at Vienna’s Rathausplatz will once again bring musical highlights to the big outdoor screen – including the best entries from the international short film competition Danube So Blue, presented in collaboration with Johann Strauss 2025 Vienna. As part of the children's opera program, we’ll be showing a selected animated film every Friday at 5 p.m. in Rathauspark from July 4 to August 29 – including The Little Bird and the Bees by Lena von Döhren, Cat Lake City by Antje Heyn, and Swim by Maike Mahira Koller. So bring your music-loving friends, the youngest members of your family, or your partner in crime – and enjoy those balmy summer nights!
