In the 23rd edition of the festival, we explore the many-layered matters of attention under the motto Eyes Wide Open. How do we reflect on the attention economy in times of AI-generated content, brain rot and political disinformation? How does cinema direct our attention, historically and in the present, both thematically and formally? And last but not least: How do we turn toward one another and remain attentive to forms of community? Five programs address these questions through layered and thought-provoking responses.
