84 films from 33 countries make up the official selection of the festival in 2026. Selected from around 6,000 entries, the films compete in two national and two international competitions for prize money of more than 30,000 euros as well as qualifications for the Academy Awards, European Film Awards, BAFTAs, and Austrian Film Awards.
