A new festival year, new opportunities! Until January 5, 2026, you can submit your film(s) to Vienna Shorts 2026—whether for one of our four competitions or the non-competitive sections. Films of all genres and formats are welcome. Winners will receive prize money totaling around €30,000, the chance to qualify for the OscarsⓇ or the European Film Awards, and of course, our iconic tree trophies.
