The screenplay/exposé competition Cine.FiNUM. will be held for the first time in 2026. It is initiated and endowed by FiNUM. Private Finance AG and co-supported by the Austrian Film Institute (ÖFI). The competition actively promotes emerging talent in Austrian feature filmmaking. The call is open to exposés by authors who have not yet written a feature-length film for cinema but can demonstrate previously submitted or completed short films. In this way, the competition fills a gap in the existing screenplay support landscape and provides new impulses for domestic film production.The main prize is endowed with €5,000, while the jury prize for special thematic relevance is endowed with €2,500; both awards include dramaturgical support.
