More joyful news today: The ESFN Reader has arrived! Based on this year’s Joint Panel Series of the European Short Film Network on the annual theme “Festivals and Their New Realities,” the reader brings together texts by critics responding to the respective panels at Go Short, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, IndieLisboa, 25FPS, Uppsala Short Film Festival, and yours truly—selected and edited by Talking Shorts. These are not just summaries; they complement the contributions with a critical perspective and continue the discussions started at the respective festivals.
