Trophy Trees

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, VIENNA SHORTS will no longer present its award winners with trophies, but will instead dedicate freshly planted trees in Vienna to them. Via a QR code on the attached plaque, the respective short film can be streamed on a smartphone in close proximity to the tree. This creates a film and tree walk through the city over the years.

In cooperation with the Municipal Department Parks and Gardens (MA 42) and the City’s Forestry Office (MA 49), supported by the Vienna Film Commission (VFC).
