Under the guidance of experts from the Austrian Film Museum, sixpackfilm, and VIS, the 4A class of the high school Evangelisches Gymnasium Wien has curated a short film program. During the preparations, students learned curatorial basics in an intense dialog with the educators and created a program trailer. (kl)

Young Programmers
”Films show emotions, they tell stories, they explain dreams. (Ceren) Abstract films not only give information but also give impulses. (Paula) They are intriguing, because they make you see something entirely illogical and unrealistic. (Liam) It’s about imagining a lot in your head. Nobody tells you what you see; you are the only one who can determine that. (Lena) It is sometimes important for some things to be abstract. It guides you out of your normal everyday life. (Belinda) Silent films speak to you, because the emotions of a scene have the ability to speak. (Samuel) It’s another language, what filmmakers want to convey with their films. A hidden message, so to speak. I had never heard anything about this language before. (Marius)“
