Thelyia Petraki (GR)


Thelyia Petraki has written and directed a medium-length documentary and three short films that won prizes in high profile international film festivals. Her latest short film, Bella, which won an award at VIENNA SHORTS 2021, was nominated at the European Film Awards in the same year. She is currently developing her debut feature film. Thelyia also created the trailer for this year’s festival edition.

Lisa Heuschober (AT)


Lisa Heuschober is a curator and culture professional. She is the artistic director of frame[o]ut Open Air Cinema. For the media festival YOUKI, she creates interactive film programs and discussions. Until 2021, she was the director of the human rights film festival this human world. She is interested in the creation of cinematic spaces that are places for interdisciplinary encounters and creative processes.

Mahdi Fleifel (AE)


Mahdi Fleifel, born in Dubai, lives and works in Denmark, Great Britain, and Greece. In 2010 he founded the production company Nakba FilmWorks. As a director, he won numerous awards, including the Peace Film Prize of the Berlin Film Festival for his feature debut, A World Not Ours, the Vienna Short Film Award for A Man Returned, and the IDFA documentary award for his latest work, I Signed The Petition.
