INDUSTRY & FILM STUDENTS

Accreditation for the 17th edition of Vienna Shorts is possible until the 19th of May 2020. Due to the restrictions to contain Covid-19, this edition will take place online between the 28th of May and the 2nd of June 2020.

Accreditation includes free and individual access to all festival programs via the Vienna Shorts Festival Hub as well as the opportunity to participate in the festival's industry events. In addition, for programmers, curators, cinema operators, distributors and sales representatives, all films are also available individually until four weeks after the festival.


Generally, all persons who can credibly demonstrate a professional or academic interest in visiting Vienna Shorts – Online Edition can be accredited, especially

– representatives of the film, television and cinema industry
– professional filmmakers
– curators and programmers
– representatives* of film festivals, VOD and streaming platforms
– students of film studies
– students of film academies and film schools

can apply for free accreditation.

A maximum of two accreditations per institution or organization is allowed. After filling in the form, we will check your accreditation application. Your accreditation is valid if it has been confirmed by the festival by email.

Student accreditation requires an official enrollment verification document (please send an e-mail to accreditation@viennashorts.com with PDF or screenshot attached. No file upload via accreditation form!).
