Olivier Volpi graduated from commercial college in 2000 and studied at the Hollywood Film Institute in Los Angeles afterwards. After his return to France he worked as a feature film scriptwriter (e.g. La Société, directed by Pascal Singevin) and made the short films Nif (2003) and Mateo Falcone (2004).
