* 1964 in Trondheim, Norway.
Torbjørn Skårild studied at the Trondheim Art Academy and in Dusseldorf. In 1994, he made the short film All as Nothing at All which won him the Terje Vigen Award at the Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad.
