
Momoko Seto
* 1980 in Tokyo.
Momoko Seto attended the French School in Tokyo and went on to study at the Fine Arts School of Marseille (Master degree in 2006). She was selected as an international exchange student by the California College of Arts of San Francisco (2004) and was a fellowship student at Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains. Momoko Seto works as a filmmaker for Asia Network (Réseau Asie, CNRS) in Paris.

An isolated world, strange deserts of white crystals and water that seemingly moves away of its own accord. An aesthetic, near-surreal commentary by Japanese-French media artist Momoko Seto on the ecological destruction of astoundingly beautiful regions whose phantasmagorical reality threatens to disappear for good.
