Ferry Radax
* 1932 in Vienna.
Ferry Radax was educated as a singer boy in Vienna, later singing and piano at the Musician High School Frankfurt/Main. After the end of war he was architecture and press photographer and had a exhibition in the Viennese "Art Club" as photographer and painter. Since 1949 film scripts result first from writing in the cinema, then soon own, and starting from 1953 further together with colleagues of the film academy. The practical film work begins already in 1951 as an assistant from the beginning. Since that time author, cameraman, Cutter, director and finally as a producer actively. Attendance of the film universities of Vienna 1953/54 and in Rome 1955/56, Cinecitta, Center Sperimentale. Ferry Radax stays for many years in Switzerland, in Germany and Italy, rarely in Austria, following film work in France, Hungary, England, Ireland, Norway, Japan, Peru, St. Helena, the USA, New Zealand etc.. After some Festivals and prices, personal film weeks in the Londone National Film Theatre, Parisian Centre Pompidou, Berliner Lupe, Munich Gasteig, Zurich, Rome, Tokyo. Finally in the Viennese film museum Albertina during one month 40 different films were shown in 1993 of 40 years work on films and the complete work by 120 productions. Ferry Radax lives in Vienna.
