Priit Pärn
* 1946 in Tallinn.
Priit Pärn studied biology at the University of Tartu and worked as an ecologist and plant biologist. His film career began in 1976: he worked as an illustrator for the animation film Kilplased, instructed by Rein Raamat. From 1976 Priit Pärn worked in the animation department of the Estonian state film company Tallinnfilm. Since 1994 he has worked for the film studio Tallinn Joonisfilm. From 1994 to 1997 Pärn taught animation at the Art Academy of Turku. Since 2006 he is head of the animation film department of the Estonian Academy of Arts. Priit Pärn also works in the fields of graphic design, cartoons and illustration. He is married to Olga Pärn.
