Jonas Odell

Jonas Odell is a multiple award-winning Swedish film and music video director. He made music videos for Franz Ferdinand, Goldfrapp, Erasure, and others. In 1981, he co-founded the FilmTecknarna animation film studio. Jonas Odell specialized in a mixture of animation and live action film.

In three episodes, Jonas Odell sketches a spectrum ranging from small and big lies, unpleasant truths and their consequences. Varying between rotoscoping, stop motion and classic CGI technique, the Swedish filmmaker created an outstanding animation-documentary which received the award for the best short film at the 2009 Sundance Festival.
