David OReilly began his career in the animation world at the age of 15, working on feature films and commercial productions in Ireland and the UK. He has been based in Berlin since 2007 and has since created several award winning short films as well as given lectures on his work across the world.

David OReilly resorts to the aesthetics of old computer games to relate a tragic futuristic relationship: cat and mouse as an unhappy couple, their life scarred with egocentrisms. The 23 mini-episodes, each lasting 25 seconds, are created in a totally synthetic way, sometimes tantalisingly funny, the next minute heartbreakingly tragic, but always uniquely harmonious.
