Miranda July

* 1974 in Barre, Vermont.
Miranda July works as film-maker, performance artist, writer and actress. She created numerous short films that are shown in such recognised institutions as the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum. She recorded music albums, directed music video clips and regularly writes short stories. She gave her debut as an actress in 1999 in Alison Maclean’s Jesus Son. In 2005 she directed her first feature length film Me And You And Everyone We Know.
