Chris Gavin
After gaining a Degree in Graphic Design in Hull Chris Gavin spent three years as a globe-trotting digital animation trainer and troubleshooter for Cambridge Animation Systems before jumping ship to work for Warner Bros in Los Angeles and London. In the late-nineties he became a freelance animation compositor. Since 2002 Chris Gavin has worked for Tandem Films.

The desire to gamble combined with a critical view of the system and at the same time a charming minimalistic answer to Hollywood’s mania for all things big and great: the military conquest of a tropical island, its exploitation and finally the collapse of the local amusement park are illustrated in plastic letters on a mastermind-board. Astonishing.
