Gerd Conradt
* 1941 in Schwiebus.
Gerd Conradt learned photography and was one of the first students of the German Film and Television Academy of Berlin (dffb) in 1966. He has worked for television as freelancer since 1982. Recurring themes of Conradt's portraits, documentaries and video installations are the city of Berlin, student activism and the RAF, e.g. in his most famous feature-length film Starbuck Holger Meins.
