In 1994 Alex Budovsky moved from Russia to New York. There he completed a Bachelor's degree in Art (focus on film) at the Brooklyn College.

A cynical king who defends his palace, a draw-bridge and an odd bird are enough to completely turn this black and white world of animated films on its head. Alex Budovsky doesn’t recoil from any twists, no matter how absurd they might be, imaginatively plays with the aesthetics of early computer games and inspires cheerful reminiscences of Pac-Man & Co.
