Soul, Swing, Trash, Electric, everything is included! Artists in Residence Max Hattler and Noriko Okako open the VIS Nights 2011 at the Gartenbau Cinema. David Pfister plays his DJ Set on Friday at the Schikaneder Cinema. Same place on Sunday: DJane Agathe Bauer coordinates “Community's Darlings” at the Youtube Karaoke Party. The Highlight on Saturday at Fluc: FAK VIS in cooperation with Film Academy Vienna. Live on Stage “Miami Warhead”, at the turntables Andreas Steinkogler and Albert Meisl. Max Hattler lives in Great Britain and Germany. Besides his teaching at the Goldsmith College and the University of East in London, he makes music videos and tour visuals for bands like Basement Jaxx and The Egg.
Noriko Okaku studied animated film at the Royal College of Art in London from 2003 to 2005. Her work is predominantly positioned in the arts sector. She lives and works in London.

Andreas Steinkogler is located at the interface between music, video, and visual art. Since 2004 he is member of the VJ Crew eye|con. He already worked together with Bands like Pendulum, LCD Soundsystem or Alex Gopher.

Albert Meisl is directing and screenwriting student at the Film Academy of Vienna. He is working as assistant director and personal assistant of Götz Spielmann. Mod, Eurofunk, obscure Italian soundtracks of the 60s and 70s, Northern Soul from Germany and Poland are the Genre of DJ Bloody Friday. All on original vinyl, of course!

Ken Hayakawa is positioned in the region of minimal tech-house. Beside his DJ activities he works as a producer. His DJ sets are characterized by danceable club tracks. Ken already absolved performances at numerous clubs and events all over Austria.
