Vienna Short Film Forum 2011
The first Vienna Short Film Forum aims at people and initiatives which dedicate their work to the genre of short film in the areas of education, financing, production and distribution. Its goal is to encourage exchange between the initiatives and the facilitation of mutual future networking. The Vienna Short Film Forum is the place to be when you want to get valuable inside information. Open to everyone, entry is free.
There are several events for professionals during the festival, which serve networking, exchange of know-how and the facilitation of commercial transactions. These events are summarized under the term Vienna Short Film Forum.
On three separate events named Show & Talk individuals who represent different initiatives will introduce their organizations by screening a short film typical for their respective institution and by presenting their activities in light of a certain topic.

Several institutions introduce themselves and talk with the audience about the founding and the advantages of “short film collectives”.

We invite everybody who wishes to get acquainted with spirits from different regions. Festival guests will share their liquids in the 35ml bar in the movie theatre Schikaneder. Prost!

Furthermore meet & greets hosted by the festival, social activities (e.g. organized trips in and around Vienna showing its role in film in all its aspects) as well as encouraging interpersonal contacts between the professionals and panel discussions will take place at the end of May in Vienna.
