Films and videos conquer the schools. With increasing regularity, innovative film works come into being during school hours. With its competition “Get into Shorts”, filmvermittlung.at, the film education platform of VIS Vienna Independent Shorts, wants to make sure that such films don’t disappear into the proverbial drawer as soon as they are made. The winning films will be shown in a special series of events; in addition to this, networking of students and teachers with filmmakers is furthered.
