The most effective form of art education is the practice of art itself. For three years Thomas Renoldner, Karo Riha and Muzak (Mukato) have been running the project “Clang:Bilder”, where contemporary compositions form the basis for animated films; parallel to that, Andrea Martignoni and Roberto Paganelli (as OTTOmani Laboratori/Italy) have been encouraging teenagers the world over to create “sound art” to go with their own moving pictures. The most exciting works by the avant-garde students from both projects will be presented here for the first time.
