Fortunately producing short films together is part of media education at schools in some places, even if this almost always depends on the personal commitment of the teachers.

The Austrian director Eva Hausberger, whose short film Kopfball was one of the films that opened VIS 2008, created a short film with final year pupils of the Vienna Goethe-Gymnasium about the topic of exclusion. This project, realised in cooperation with KulturKontakt Austria, will celebrate its cinema premiere at VIS 2010.
