Impressive visual effects, brilliantly animated futuristic scenes and passionate-hollywoodesque direction make the Italian science fiction short film AfterVille highly convincing. At the end of the animation night, VIS comes up with a midnight special well worth seeing, which shows what people are capable of in the face of threatening apocalypse, as well as in their handling of powerful computers.
