Brunch with or without film programme.
Film programme with or without brunch.
A wonderful concept and idea reached us this year from the Stuttgarter Filmwinter – the "foster-film programme" (Patenfilmprogramm). There it is already a longstanding tradition that has now also awakened a desire in us to find a way to show films during the festival, which were much loved and/or discussed but in the end couldn’t be included in the final programme.
Unfortunately there is never enough room … as the old festival organiser’s saying goes. So this is a selection of "saved" films – each team member has chosen one film to be their "foster-film". We hope that with a nice cup of coffee and a fried egg, you will be able to enjoy these films that we just couldn’t get out of our heads.

A film that touches the heart, very funky and quirky – and, at least on the surface, the content has nothing to do with the restless mites at Granny Grete’s...
