Johanna Moder (A)
… is a film and theatre director from Graz who won the VIS Audience Award with her live-action short Her mit dem schönen Leben three years ago. Her contribution to the football short film reel Eleven Minutes on the occasion of the EURO 2008 was screened at several German language film festivals. The Vienna Film Academy student directed music videos for the band "The Base" and worked as an assistant director for various fiction and documentary films. She is currently working on her first feature-length film.
Joachim Schätz (A)
… studied film and cultural studies in Vienn, where he works as a freelance film critique (e.g. for the Viennese weekly paper Falter and the film magazine kolik.film). He is director of the film department at the pop-culture magazine the gap and has published book on zombies and the director Preston Sturges. Currently he is working on a dissertation on Austrian industrial and advertising films 1920–1960.
Nicky Schulte (D)
… has been managing the Filmfestival Münster, where she had already previously been responsible for cross-border film series and later supervised the German Short Film Competition, since 2009. She dropped out of her business studies, which should have taken her into culture management, and turned to films (production management and assistance) and the theatre (open-air theatre group "Theater Titanick") in the late 1990s. She has worked for the festival in Münster since 2003.
